Valentine Giveaway (note: this post revised on January 22)

(artwork courtesy of this site)

I've been wanting to do a giveaway but I wanted to wait until I hit one of those bloggy milestones--you  know, like a certain number of followers or a certain number of posts.  But hell, at the rate I'm gaining followers I'll be dead and buried before I even reach 50 (followers, not years--I'm already past that one).

(artwork courtesy of my fingers--isn't this just the cutest couple?  It's called "Valentine's Day Down on the Farm")

So, I'm having a giveaway!  It starts now and will end on Sunday, February 1, which gives me enough time to mail the goodies so the winner will get them in time for V-day celebrating.   Plus I'm adding to the pile as the days go by.  PLUS--there's the Grand Prize, of course, but I've added First and Second Prizes, too.  So more chances to win neat stuff (and in a day or two I'll show you what you might be winning).

(ATC I made proving that if you drink martinis your hair will sparkle)

Here's how it works--if you're already a VintageChristineFollower, first, know that I love you and appreciate your followness.  So, leave me a comment after you read this and you're entered.  Plus, since you're already a Faithful Follower, you automatically get another entry!  Two, count 'em, TWO chances to win!!

(photo taken at annual Faithful Followers of VintageChristine beach party. See what you're missing?  It's as much fun as summer movie night at
The Casablanca Resort!)

If you're not a Follower, you can still leave a comment and get entered.  But what the heck, become a Follower at the same time and get another entry.   Fabulous prize hint:  Candy.  Lots of candy.

And don't worry, I'll be completely unbiased and fair about who wins.  However, I DO have a PayPal account with a section called "Bribes" . . .  Haw haw, jest kiddin' -- the dog's going to choose the winner.   Somehow.

For those of you who love giving and getting Valentine's Day cards, click on the appropriate button over there on the right and link to a fun party!

  4. Madam, you were supposed to keep quiet about that . . . but seeing as how this beach is in San Francisco (did you notice the Cliff House behind "us"?), I don't think anyone noticed OR cared!!

Linda, thanks for visiting me and I'll hop right over to the 50/50 giveaway if it's not too late. Way Over 50 is the new 30!!!!

  6. Count me twice! Sounds like fun! I wish I didn't feel like I should dress like the beach girls when on the beach, but it takes yards and yard of fabric to cover this ass! I also don't get into the whole black outifit thing. I'm more into the muumuu look!

    Happy Day!

  8. Imagine having to wear those big dresses at the beach! Did they never get hot? What would you do with even a half amp hot flash!

  10. Huh, somehow you managed to leave me out of the picture when we had the beach party! LOL! But, that is a pretty good picture of me and the little lady up close to the top of the page. You do know that I wore new overalls so that I'd look my best for the portrait, right? The little lady even made herself a nice new red apron! Sure was a special occasion!

Hopefully I'll be able to meet you at movie night at the Casablanca!

  12. Yeah, so why wasn't I invited to the beach party? I love water. Oh, how I miss the Great Lakes of my beloved Michigan. Boo hoo. I am living in a sea of corn fields and hog poop out in the Middle of Nowhere, Iowa. Quite an adjustment. Drop by the farm now, ya hear? barnyardblessings.blogspot.com
