Things I Want More Than, Well, Anything!

Now, how incredible is THIS?  Where's Tom Hanks????  Zoltar was holding court at a freakin' FLEA MARKET outside of Huntsville, Alabama and sported a big sign announcing he was NOT FOR SALE!  Of course, had there been anyone around who looked like they were the owner, you know I would've asked "how much?" anyway.  Awesome!

OMG!  A pink poodle/dalmatian wearing a Marlon Brando biker cap, a studded collar and best of all, he has a pierced tongue!  A European artist named Tom (his company is/was "Tom's Drag".  Who woulda thought?) made this and other whimsical furniture and figurines and this is all that's left from a few shipments we got from him back when I worked at the art gallery in New Orleans.  I'm actually working with them for 3 months (again, who woulda thought?) and when I walked into the back room and saw this, I got all excited and now I want him.  Bad.

I really was planning on getting back to blogging but this damn job is taking up all my time, and if I'm not working I'm passed out somewhere in the house.  I'm pretty sure I'm just too old and worn out to work a full-time job and can't wait to get back to junkin' and flea marketing and you know, the FUN stuff!

I'm "friends" with some of you on Facebook and that's really how I communicate and show off stuff right now but gosh darn it, as long as the cat continues to barrel through the bedroom and do a swan dive on my head at 4:00 a.m., I might as well fire up the computer and do some bloggin'.  Definitely better than killing and eating the little mother-effer.

He'd make a mighty tasty catloaf, though!
(Ms. Von Felts, I loved your comment when I posted this pic on Facebook).

Love to y'all!

  7. I'd also love to own a Voltar!! Gemmy the Hallowe'en toy manufacturer made a 'Zultan' years and years ago and I search for one on eBay leading up to every Hallowe'en. I did come across one once but it went for around £160!

    Here's a clip of him! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P1FJvtnfLg4&feature=related
