Do You Doodle? I Doodley Do!

I don't spend ALL of my time going to flea markets and antique malls and then writing about my experiences.  Every once in awhile, I reach back into my deep distant hard-to-remember-that-long-ago past and dredge up a bit of artistic talent.  Happy Sunday, y'all!

  6. Very good!!! One day these "doodlings" will be cherished for their art and for who drew them. Say, that guy has a serious comb over.

  7. Oh, oh, oh!!! The title picture just loaded and I just had to comment on all the pretty stuff! That gorgeous tiara is drop dead, and the covered glass (candy dish? powder box?) is lovely. Have a friend who collects tiaras. Says she wants to be buried in one of them someday! There ya go...they can be useful.

  9. I love to see people's drawings/doodles/artistic endeavors. Style is an art in my opinion so it's only natural you should express yourself creatively in other ways too. These have a very pacific northwest feel to them : )

I'm glad you left me a comment...nice to find someone who understands "shop" and project bikes!!!
Yes, our husbands have the exact same shop (and friends!), other than it's our son's chevy that blew an oil pump and The Mister starts the boat job Tusday...after he comes home from his "day" job!
Have a good Memorial Day weekend!

  12. Nice! My doodling consists of connecting triangles that I fill in till they are totally black, friends in the past have suggested I might want to get help figuring out what that means :-)

  15. I am a big time doodler, I heard on NPR once that people who doodle during other tasks, (phone conversations, taking notes etc...) are not distracted, it is actually a concentration aid. I can't say that I was terribly concentrated when I was doing it in Highschool though... Also, a side note, my big fat cat is named A.D. Doo. I always ask her I Doodle, what are you Doodling and how do you Doodle, Do? LOL!

  16. These are fantastic! Next time when you have a giveaway, I think you should use these as prizes, that is, if you don't mind parting with them.
